Bells

Shot from below of some bells in the Merlion Walk in Sentosa, Singapore.

They were ringing every 15 minutes - the things inside are servos that are attached to the thing that hits the bell. When I first heard them, I thought the sound was coming out some hidden speakers somewhere, then I realised that it was the actual bells that were making the sound - they weren't just there for deoration. Wish I had gotten a good photo of the thing actually striking the bell - it was quite interesting (and noisy) to watch.
